TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The “Back the Bokke” competition is organised by Stategic Risk Advisory Services (“Stategic Risk”).
- The competition runs during September 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 29 September 2026. The prize draw will take place on 30 September 2026.
- The competition is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older, excluding employees, directors, representatives and immediate family members of Stategic Risk and any parties directly involved in administering the competition.
- To qualify for entry, participants must complete one of the following during the competition period:
- Request a genuine no-obligation insurance quote from Stategic Risk; OR
- Submit a copy of their current insurance policy to Stategic Risk for review.
- Participants are not required to accept a quotation, change insurers or purchase an insurance product in order to qualify for the competition.
- Entries must contain accurate and complete contact information so that Stategic Risk can contact the participant should they be selected as the winner.
- Unless otherwise stated, each qualifying participant will receive one entry into the draw. Duplicate submissions of the same policy or repeated quote requests will not create additional entries.
- The prize consists of one premium biltong hamper valued at approximately R1,000.
- The prize is not exchangeable for cash, is not transferable and may not be substituted by the winner. Should the advertised prize become unavailable for reasons outside Stategic Risk’s reasonable control, Stategic Risk reserves the right to provide a prize of similar value.
- The winner will be selected by means of a random draw on 30 September 2026 from all valid qualifying entries received before the closing date.
- The selected winner will be contacted using the telephone number, email address or other contact details provided when entering.
- If the winner cannot be contacted within 72 hours after reasonable attempts have been made, or if the winner does not meet the competition requirements, Stategic Risk reserves the right to draw another winner.
- The winner may be asked to provide reasonable proof of identity and eligibility before the prize is released.
- By entering the competition, participants consent to Stategic Risk processing the personal information supplied for the purposes of:
- administering the competition;
- contacting the participant regarding their quote or policy review;
- verifying their competition entry; and
- contacting the winner.
- Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable South African data-protection legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Submission of an existing insurance policy authorises Stategic Risk to review the policy for the purpose of assessing the participant’s existing cover and, where appropriate, preparing or discussing alternative insurance options. Submission of a policy does not oblige the participant to purchase, replace or amend any insurance product.
- Insurance quotations, recommendations and financial services remain subject to the normal underwriting, compliance and regulatory requirements applicable to the relevant product and insurer.
- Entry into the competition does not guarantee that an insurance quotation can be provided, that insurance cover will be offered, or that any particular premium or benefit will be available.
- Stategic Risk reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated, submitted using false information or otherwise do not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
- Stategic Risk will not be responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received because of technical, telecommunications, internet, email or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.
- Stategic Risk reserves the right, where reasonably necessary, to amend, suspend or cancel the competition should circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary. Any material changes will be communicated appropriately.
- By entering the competition, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
- The competition is subject to the applicable laws of the Republic of South Africa, including applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.
